Compliance Assurance Monitoring (CAM) Plan Services

•  CAM Description:

Compliance Assurance Monitoring (CAM) Plan has been developed and implemented by the US EPA as a means for emissions units to verify compliance with limits set forth in Title V operating permits.  The CAM plans are developed by end users of Air Pollution Control emission sources in accordance with 40 CFR, Section 64.3 entitled “Monitoring Design Criteria”.  The basis for selecting monitoring parameters and establishing operating ranges is to ensure continued compliance with the operating permit. 

•  Merlin® Compliance:

Merlin® Controls – FMDK Technologies, Inc. has developed and implemented specific products to address CAM Plans for Electrostatic Precipitators for control systems by FMDK and other major manufacturers.

 For systems having existing Merlin® controls consisting of Merlin-IIŇ AHVC’s operating with Ver. 5.02 and above and a Merlin® Central Monitoring System complete with a DHD/MPX and WIN-CMS software we offer our Merlin® Auto Report Program and Merlin® Remote Access Consultation Services.

•   Reporting Compliance:

Our Merlin® Auto Report software works in conjunction with Merlin® WIN-CMS software as a stand-alone product.  The program will automatically generate and print a daily report of the previous days operation at a user selectable time.  It contains the Primary and Secondary readings for Voltage and Current, average spark rate and the calculated Secondary KW. 

•  Remote Consultation Access Services:

The Remote Consultation Access Services (RCAS) allows direct access to your Merlin-II® AHVC’s and Merlin Rapper Controls. This dialup access with client-controlled permission gives real time analysis, programming and assistance with troubleshooting.  Our annual subscription allows for multiple accesses per year at a nominal fee from FMDK’s offices and/or from our field service technicians at a remote location. 

• “Other” Systems Compliance:

For systems using other than Merlin® ESP controls, FMDK has developed and installed our Report Acquisition and Monitoring System (RAM) for interfacing with Automatic High Voltage Controls from major manufacturers.  As an integral part of our RAM System a Merlin® Central Monitoring System with a DHD/MPX and WIN-CMS software.  For these systems we offer our Merlin® Auto Report Program and Merlin® Remote Access Services For OMC.

• “Other” Systems Reporting:

Our Merlin® Auto Report software operates as a stand-alone program in conjunction with the WIN-CMS software. This program will automatically generate and print a daily report of the previous days operation at a user selectable time.  It contains the Primary and Secondary readings for Voltage and Current, calculated spark rate and the calculated Secondary KW. 

• “Other” Systems Diagnostics:

The Remote Consultation Access Services (RACS) For OMC allows direct read-only access to your existing High Voltage Controls via dialup with appropriate client permission.  This enables FMDK personnel to have real-time analysis, assistance with troubleshooting and programming change recommendations to be initiated by the end user. Our annual subscription allows for multiple accesses per year at a nominal fee from FMDK’s offices and/or from our field service technicians at a remote location.
